Ended up in a conclusion to need to either be somebody or do something...As late John Boyd would have said it. Decided to try to change the job to more fun one, with more content, with more challenges. We'll see if this actually happens as it still is couple months away.
What is wrong with current trends? People are talking about shareholder's benefit etc, but seem that context for it has been misunderstood. I did read that originally it meant that "thou shall not buy home to yourself with company money" but it is interpreted as "Do not care what to do, but make more money to shareholder". This is very, very, very short-sighted. Well, on this quartal you get more money, but people are leaving company, the talent which creates what company is. Is the need for laying off people due to mistakes of what management did or something else? if it is, then should the management let go instead of people?
